Madden 11 PS3 Game won't play

Has anyone encountered any issues with Madden 11 on PS3. I purchased the game and it was working fine, now when it is loading the actual game after the menu options, it stalls on the loading screen and will not engage the game. Sometimes the screen will turn black, and I can hear the crowd but nothing happens. The only things that have changed from when it was working correctly until now are: 1. I just downloaded the new software update (patch) that I had to download. 2. I bought NHL 11, and don't know if there could be any tie in regarding data stored on the hard disk. All of the menu screen functions are working correctly, but NONE of the game modes will let me get onto the field. Anybody have any suggestions? I have deleted all of the Madden 11 game data, and reinstalled, but still nothing.|||I have that exact same problem and i've even tried returning the game and still the same thing. I saw thing about changing skill settings from my skill but still freezes.|||same problem with me, just started after update. thought game was shot so exchanged at gamestop but same thing. how am i supposed to try the skill level change if the game won't load past opening credits?? why the hell isn't this fixed yet?!|||Im having the same problem. I deleted the game data and reinstalled it but now it wont get passed "copy data to game data". Its not downloading the whole game data, just the patch. Anyone have any solutions?
