Sign in issues

I have tried to get on live for Madden and Tiger Woods and neither game is letting me connect. It says connection failed. You need to be signed into XBOX live and ea sports. I have always been signed into both but it isn't working now. Is the server down or can anyone help me out?|||Did you ever get an answer for this? I have had the same issue twice now and it is frustrating. The first time I just waited a few hours and it eventually worked but now it is happening again and I can't get an answer for it. Half of my friends are on playing their madden games right now so I don't think it is a server issue but it sure seems like it.
