Question about logging on

I created an EA account for my son who is 9 I had to put my account over his for parental reasons but he still can't go online to compete it keeps saying he is to young to log on to EA online. can someone help me because he does have my permission but we don't know how to do it|||I'm having the same problem with my 11 year old son despite turning off all the parental controls on his PS3 system (which I really didn't want to do-- I just did it thinking it was necessary for him to be able to access online gaming mode in his soccer game). I sent a separate email to EA and will post their answer here (assuming I get one). IF EA is as unresponsive as this board makes them out to be we will rethink purchasing EA games in the future!
